NEWPORT YACHT CLUB
For over 100 years, the Newport Yacht Club has been welcoming members, families, and guests to enjoy one of the finest yachting facilities New England has to offer. NYC is a partner with the City of Newport and its harbor activities, providing services to the City and surrounding communities.
Objective: Create a new online experience for members to stay informed of the activities on and off the water at a growing yacht club.
After designing the Newport Yacht Club’s website years ago, they recently returned to us for a refresh and overhaul. In addition, new functionality was needed to support the growing number of members and activities. 6 Square created a way for members to log in and edit their profiles, view membership status, purchase tickets to events, in addition to many other features.
With multiple inshore and offshore racing events hosted by the Club, members now have the ability to register and pay for events online, and the Club is able to post results and archive results from previous years.
